Capiz is capital of the Province of Capiz, Panay. There are some captivating Capiz places which are incomparable and can be a tourist spot that are not yet well known. These are the hidden captivating Capiz treasure which we can be proud of. Capiz is very well known in the Philippines as a “Sea food Capital of the Philippines” because of its abundance of marine life. There are still some traditions and culture that still exist in Capiz. The Sinadya sa Halaran Festival

Sinadya sa Halaran Festival is the joint festival of the Roxas City and the captivating Capiz Province. It is an assorted festival that is celebrated for both cultural and religious reasons. Sinadya sa Halaran proud of colorful activities such as the great parade of festivals, the fluvial parade, and the lightning river floats.

Sinadya sa Halaran is one of Roxas City’s most important annual events and festivals merger of two – “Sinadya” (City) and “Halaran” (province), which literally means joy in sharing and thanksgiving.

The Capiz Shell

One of the captivating Capiz products is the Capiz Shell. It is used to make indoor or outdoor decoration stuff. Some of the products of Capiz Shells are lanterns, frames, garlands, lamp shades, window panes and others. This is one of the proud of Capiz that out of the Capiz Shell we could make crafts that can be sell locally and internationally.
